Vegan and eco conscious Handbags

MATT & NAT is a cruelty free and eco-friendly Handbag manufacture based in Montréal, Québec.
I really like their current line, with it's Ikat patterns and hippy feel.
With each purchase of this limited edition Ikat bags, MATT & NAT will donate $21 to charity water, a non-profit organization bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations.

Making an arrow shaped foam stamp

So you really like arrows and you really want to make an arrow shaped stamp...well, you are in the right place! Follow this easy tutorial and stamp away:

Materials : "Glue All" glue, craft foam (3"), balsa wood (4") and a painting brush.

Draw your arrow design on the craft foam using a pen or a pencil.

Using scissors, cut out the arrow shapes.

Glue the foam pieces onto the balsa wood.

Using a soft painting brush, apply paint (acrylic or fabric) onto the foam.

Press the stamp onto fabric or paper.

You can experiment with different kinds of brushes for applying the paint onto the stamp. Every brush will give different print result.

How to Screen Print Using the Drawing Fluid Technique

I found this great Tutorial on YouTube, from the wonderful BLICK art materials.
It's a fast overview/demonstration of how to make a screen print using drawing fluid. And because I myself use this technique quite often, I can say that the demonstration is true to the processes. There are some tips I would like to add, but that will have to wait for my next post!
In the meanwhile enjoy and create!
